![]() ![]() They told me what I could do is buy a new one and they would give me a 35% discount.I asked what guarantee they can give me that they won't brick my next device as soon as it's out of warranty and they said they hope it won't have any issues. When I contacted FitBit support (2 support reps and a supervisor) - they told me that the device is out of warranty (I had it for a year and a half. I tried all the troubleshooting steps I could find. FitBit pushed out a firmware update and it bricked my Charge 5 (the Charge 5 started flashing the FitBit logo and wouldn't do anything else). I've had my device for a year and a half and everything was great at first. But my experience with FitBit overall has been terrible. I've been a customer for 6 years, I know how to enter the food. I was on the phone with customer service for 20 minutes yesterday describing the problem, and I woke up today to find an email from them with the link to faq's about how to enter food logs. This is obviously a problem with the app, but I'd love to know if anyone else is experiencing it, or knows how to fix it, because I'm about to give up with fitbit. More and more days are affected as time goes on.Īs an example yesterday I entered in everything I ate, and today when I looked at my log for yesterday most of the food was gone and it said I only took in 475 calories. But going all the way back to May random days will have half of what I've eaten vanish. I've been meticulous about entering every calorie for the last 6 years, and I've never had this problem. But my charge five seems to be working fine in and of itself, but the app has started deleting random food from my log. I don't mean to hijack your thread, I just honestly can't figure out how to make a new one.
